The vitaminbar is oat-like, has a fruity taste and is slightly grainy. Typically, high protein bars contain glycerol as a humectant. Glycerol makes bars smooth and moist, but also has a laxative effect. That is why the vitaminbar does not contain glycerol, and hence it has a bit of a grainy mouthfeel.

One of the great advantages of the bar is that it’s completely stand-alone. It doesn’t need refrigeration and it stays fresh for about 6-10 months. Bring the bar with you anywhere or just store it at those places where you know they’ll come in handy.

Which is why you don’t find it in the vitaminbar. Therefore, the vitaminbar has a bit of a grainy mouthfeel to it.
Just like the shakes, the bars are a form of complete food. The Vitaminbar provides you with every nutrient you need. Adding to that, we’ve upped the amount of vitamins and minerals to 25% of your daily amount per bar to give you a micronutrient boost. That’s why it’s called the Vitaminbar. Although, at 20 grams of protein per bar, it could well be called a protein bar too.
Although it’s not a complete meal, the bar definitely is a pretty filling snack or light meal. It provides 333 kcal, which is comparable to a cheese sandwich. The bar is rich in fibre and rich in protein, due to which it’s more satiating than your average ~333 kcal snack. It fills for about 3 to 4 hours.
